Heidi the Dog needs a home
Heidi is a sweet, energetic, young girl. We've had her in our home a little over a week and she's made herself right at home. She likes being where the people are, but has been good about going in her crate when we leave or at bedtime.
She enjoys our two older female dogs and our four male children (ages 5-17). She is playful without being obnoxious. All the boys help with feeding and letting the dogs outside.
Heidi knows sit and we are working on stay and shake. She gently jumps up on people for attention and while it is somewhat sweet, we are working on getting her to sit instead. She also jumps up when she is excited (a little less gently) and we are working on this as well.
Heidi seems to be a copycat barker and only barks when our other dogs do (mostly at squirrels).
We had one bathroom accident each of her first two days and have had none since.
Heidi will be a great family dog. She is so sweet and really seems to love all of us.
She is scheduled to be spayed on Thursday, January 25.
